Philippians 1:1-11 | Joy and Its Source

Pure and simple, If we rebels want to experience joy we’ve got to get down on our knees, surrendered and submitted to Christ.

Christian Joy is: “a good feeling in the soul, produced by the Holy Spirit, as He causes us to see the beauty of Christ in the Word and in the world.” –John Piper

Joy is found in:

1. Forgetting yourself vv. 1-2

2. Fellowship with God’s people vv. 3-5, 7-8

3. The God who is a Finisher v. 6

4. The Fullness of Christ vv. 9-11
