Crossroads Church is a group of Christ-followers, anchored in the word, empowered by the Spirit, growing in grace, living life together, equipped to generously serve and prayerfully pursue the lost.
Crossroads Church Napoleon exists to help lost people get found and found people experience increasing freedom in Jesus Christ. (Mt. 28:19-20; Lk 19:10)
Crossroads will help lost people get found and found people live free by equipping people to connect relationally, grow spiritually, and engage in Christ’s mission.
The Bible is our authoritative guide for living (2 Tim 3:16-17). As such, we won’t just listen to relevant teachings from the Word but will seek to order our lives around the Word and do what it says empowered by the Holy Spirit daily in our interactions with those inside and outside of the Church (Jm. 1:22). Our God speaks and so we will work to recognize and respond to the voice of God as a natural part of being in relationship with Him.

Jesus welcomes and accepts everyone right where they are, but He loves us too much to ever leave us there! In light of this, we are committed to celebrating God’s grace as well as fostering an environment where we can be open and honest about our shortcomings, struggles, sin and need for Jesus! We believe in process, not perfection and welcome everyone to bring their mess and begin the process with Jesus. We will expect those who are forgiven by grace to walk in the increasing freedom of grace!

Community happens better in circles rather than rows.We believe that spiritual growth happens best in caring relationships where people fully engage in Christian community life that encourages, challenges, prays for and serves together. We believe that bonding beyond Sunday morning is vital to our spiritual development as disciples of Jesus. If you love Jesus, we believe you will also love to do life with His Church. Our hope and goal is that you will find a Connect Group to join and develop some “fridge friends” here within the Crossroads Family.

The greatest resources in God’s Kingdom are His people! When God’s people are equipped to proclaim Christ’s forgiveness and freedom through a gospel presence in their workplaces, neighborhoods and families, the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church and the surrounding communities will flourish. So, we will seek to train up and equip Christ-followers to use their gifts and live like Jesus as lights in the world while maintaining their saltiness for the world (Mt. 5:13-16)!

In a world of consumerism, we believe that the Church should be filled with contributors rather than consumers. We believe that if one person isn’t contributing, the Church is missing out! This means we need you and your specific contribution. We need you to invest your gifts, time and resources and so does our greater community! To this end, we will strive to be a “how-can-I-help-people,” and we will work hard to be an asset to the communities in which we live.

And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
We will commit to always be in prayer for at least one more lost person to pursue them as prompted by the Spirit with grace and love. We will exercise courage to pray for people in the moment. Our hope and desire is that all will come to repentance and a knowledge of the love of God, but regardless of where they stand in relationship with Jesus, we will love them and befriend them, being bold and honest about our faith, while not being pushy or beating them up with the Bible.
