It's time to start fresh this new year and shed the guilt we carry over how well or how much we pray. No child thinks about how to come to their father or has guilt about not talking with their dad enough. When they have a need or want company they just go to their dad and talk with him. Because of Jesus, we can and should approach God like a child approaches a good father.
